You may have mistyped the URL of the article you were attempting to read, or there is a bad link...

TRY THIS? If you cannot open an article link try using the SOS search engine: look at the URL you have typed or clicked-on and find out what Month and Year the article is — for example, /aug99/ (August 1999). On the Search page, choose Month (August) and Year (1999) from the dropdown menus and enter no other words, click the search button and it will list all articles in our database from that month, with correct title links. If you still feel there is an error on a file/URL, please email webmaster@soundonsound.com and paste the URL of the missing article into the email and we will investigate and correct any error as soon as possible.

Articles from January 1994 to the current issue are published on this site. However, due to copyright restrictions by original authors, a small number of older articles have not been posted to our site.

We include a full database of ALL articles back to Issue 1 (November 1985) as a special service to longterm paper readers who use our search engine to quickly locate material within their magazines, since we no longer print an Index To Articles within the magazine itself (there are over 23 years' worth!).

We currently have no plans to add articles from 1985—1993 to this site.
